Fabric policies purchased between 2017 and September 2022
Term life insurance policies and accidental death policies purchased through Fabric between 2017 and September 3, 2022 were issued by Vantis Life Insurance Company.
These policies are still accessible through your Fabric account. However, some administrative features may not be available as self-service options, especially for policies purchased between 2017 and 2019. If you need help managing one of these policies, please email us at support@meetfabric.com.
Accidental death and AD&D coverage
There are a few different types of accidental death coverage that may be associated with Fabric by Gerber Life.
Legacy standalone accidental death policies: Fabric previously offered standalone accidental death policies issued by Vantis Life Insurance Company. New standalone accidental death policies are no longer available through Fabric, but existing policies remain in effect according to their policy terms.
Accidental death rider on term life insurance: Some Fabric by Gerber Life term life insurance customers may have the option to add an accidental death rider when purchasing coverage or within the first 30 days after purchase. The rider provides an additional benefit if the insured dies as the result of a qualifying accident. Availability may vary by state. Learn more about the accidental death rider.
Separate AD&D coverage: Accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage may also be offered separately from Fabric by Gerber Life term life insurance. This is a separate product and is not part of the Fabric term life insurance policy or the accidental death rider.
