How do I close my child's account?

Here's how to close your child's UGMA investment account

To close your child’s UGMA investment account:

  1. Log in to your account and head to "My Account."

  2. Click on the account you wish to close.

  3. Look for three dots at the top right, click on them, then select "Account details."

  4. Choose the option "Close UGMA account."

  5. A chat window will appear; Select Close my kid’s investment account and follow the prompts to submit your request.

Once your request is submitted, our team will review and process the closure. It can take up to 14 business days for funds to be returned to your linked bank account.

Important: Once closed, a UGMA kid's investment account can't be reopened. You'd need to start with a new account.
