I missed an admin fee for my child’s investment account; what happens next?

If your monthly admin fee fails for any reason, you won’t be able to make new contributions until the fee is successfully paid. Our system will typically retry the payment periodically through the following month.

What should I do if my admin fee fails?

Check your payment method

If your payment method needs to be updated, you can do so in your account:

  1. Log in and go to My Account

  2. Select your child’s investment account

  3. Click the three dots in the top right

  4. Select Update payment info

  5. Follow the prompts to update your bank account and/or card information

Retry behavior

  • For debit or credit card payments, we’ll retry the payment in most cases

  • For linked bank accounts, retries may need to be handled manually

Need help or not seeing a retry?

If your payment hasn’t gone through, please contact us at support@meetfabric.com, and our team can help process the payment.

How do admin fees work?

  • Cost: $3/month for one child, or $5/month for multiple children

  • Payment method: Charged monthly to your linked payment method. Most accounts use a debit or credit card, though a small number of older accounts may still be billed through a linked bank account

  • Free trial: Your first 30 days are free. Billing begins after the trial ends

Do admin fees affect my child’s investments?

No. Admin fees do not come out of your child’s account balance. They cover custodial and brokerage-related costs (like commissions and transaction fees), so those expenses are not deducted from your child’s investments.
