How do I close my child's account?

Closing your child's account is a breeze! Follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your account and head to "My Account."

  2. Click on the account you wish to close.

  3. Look for three dots at the top right, click on them, then select "Account details."

  4. Choose the option "Close UGMA account."

  5. A chat window will pop up with a ready-to-go message for our Support team. Let them know if it's one specific account or all of them.

Our Support team will take it from there. Keep in mind it can take up to 14 business days for all your funds to find their way back to your bank account.

Note: Once closed, a UGMA Kid's Investment Account is like a good book - it can't be reopened. You'd need to start a new chapter with a new account.
